I Read A Book Yesterday And The T-Shirt Is Still Attired In Leather

The other day I decided to look at my wardrobe to see what I had and realized that I had some very old shirts that I no longer wear. Some of them date back several years and I have even purchased a few pairs of jeans from that time as well. So maybe I should keep that in mind next time I need to replace something. Anyway, I decided that I was going to start keeping a log of the types of things I purchased last time and put the gifts away in a storage box. When I look back at my past wardrobe it is very surprising that I don’t have quite as much left as I thought I did.

I suppose I am being too self conscious because I am reading a book about personal growth today and the T-shirt has become a bit of a sore spot in my closet. But even if I hadn’t noticed it before I do now. I guess there is something about knowing that something was around for a long time just waiting for me to use it. It sort of puts a chill on you when you walk into a closet to find that some of your stuff is not exactly what you think it is. I read a book yesterday and the T-shirt that I bought last time is covered in stains.

I guess I will have to buy another one or maybe even donate the one I have now. I have plans to repaint the other shirt and I also intend to give some of my old college books to my son and hope that he likes them as much as I do. In fact I might even have some more on hand for gift giving this Christmas. I may have to order some more of these books online as well so that I can stock up on some of my favorite books.
